Is Firmit really free?
Yes. Payment requests, quotes, invoices and deposit flows are all free to use, with no monthly subscription. You only ever pay the small platform fee on the payments you take - and your customer can cover that.
What is the platform fee?
1% of each payment, capped at £5 - so on larger jobs you never pay more than £5. You choose whether the fee is added at checkout for your customer to cover, or absorbed by you for a clean total.
Estimate the fees on any amountAre there card processing fees on top?
Payments are handled by Stripe, our regulated payment processor, so Stripe's own processing fee applies to each payment. That's separate from Firmit's platform fee. Our payments page explains it and lets you estimate the fees for any amount.

Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Pro is a rolling monthly subscription - cancel whenever you like and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. No lock-in.
When do I actually pay anything?
Only when you get paid. There's nothing to pay to sign up or to send quotes and requests. The platform fee is taken from a payment as it happens, and Pro (if you choose it) is billed monthly.
