One thing worth saying plainly. Firmit is early, and you may find rough edges. Better you find them than a customer of ours does in six months. Tell us and we'll fix them. What we won't let go wrong is your money: your payouts run on Stripe, the same rails used by businesses far larger than ours.

They pay, their way
A clean, branded page. Pay by Bank, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna - whatever suits them.
Money lands in your bank
Straight into your own account - you're the merchant of record. Firmit only ever takes its 1%.
The platform fee
1% per payment, capped at £5
That's the whole story. No setup fees, no monthly minimum, no surprises. On bigger jobs the cap means you never pay more than £5, however large the payment.

Add the fee at checkout, like the booking fee on event tickets. Your price stays your price and the customer covers it. This is the default.

Prefer to show a clean, round total? Take the fee on yourself instead - on any single payment or as your default. Your call, every time.
